International Activities

Structure to support international work

For international work, Daiichi Institute of Technology (DIT) has two sections, The International Office and The International Exchange Center. Mainly The International Office provides frameworks or guidelines of the international research or activities while the International Exchange Center takes care of the foreign students. For the consensus in the matters within DIT, The International Office or The International Exchange Center convenes a meeting by the International Exchange Committee and the topics brought from two sections are discussed. The Committee is composed of faculty members and administration officers, and has the right to put into the final shape.

The International Office

The International Office serves students and faculties to support international affairs of academic research or activities such as studying abroad or memorandum of understanding (MOU).

Study abroad

DIT has a special English study program “Rose Program” for the students who would like to improve the language skill. In the program students experience a short-term stay in UK and take English course at St. Anne’s College, University of Oxford with sightseeing in Cambridge and London for weekend activities.

Memorandum of Understanding (MOU)

In order to promote further international activities, the International Office has made treaty of MOU with some foreign academic institutions so far.
